Welcome to the Families Of Laurie Ann Bey Caulder
Home Page!

Wow, I never knew how big my families could GET!

I knew for many years my Great Uncle Chuck was trying to find our Family lines, but I never knew how difficult or what a full time job it is. I also have found that it just doesn't include my Bey family it goes from one family to another, and can get quite confusing. My name is
Laurie Ann Marie Bey Caulder And I am here to show you my families.. I have several main Branches Which Come off of Bey, West, Connor, Connelly/Connolly, Glazewska, Glazewski, and many many more names.. I figured it is best to start with Bey since this is my maiden name. You will find links to all my families and also my Husbands families from here. And his family lines have 3 sets of Caulders, Herrings, Hayes, Cook, and Jacksons. So if you have any of these names in your family let me know lets see if we can get a connection.. I am also webmaster of the NJ GenWeb site of Secaucus.. Which is where my Beys were back in the early 1900's so look around and check things out I will be updateing and adding to this site often..And if you have information to take me further please feel free to contact us. We have lost a lot of the Bey's due to a divorce in the family and would like to reconnect these family ties.

Writings about the Bey Family From
Bridget Della Connelly/Connolly, Bey, Nagle, Klarman(Granny to those who knew her)

Della Bey was told these things by my Grandmother Dorathy Bey while living in West Hoboken, New Jersey. Dorathy Bey was born in Alcase Lorrain France. I don't know where her husband Charles Bey and her met cause he was deceased when she met the family around 1912. But I was asked to name her first son after his Grandfather Charles cause he had blues eyes like him.. Dora and Charles lived in Secaucus, New Jersey where they had a good buisness of grooming, grinding, and bottling horse radish that they personally delivered by horse and buggy to stores and homes, after Charles Bey's death Dora had to sell the business to a man in West Hoboken(that is now Union City, NJ). as with small children she could not take care of the buisness, and later moved to West Hoboken where they lived when I met them. When I met Mom Bey and family, the only ones living at home not married were Freddie who never married, George the youngest boy(who later married, and Sophia who married after Mom Bey died, and Philip who I later married. Charles and Dorathy's other children were Harry, William, and Alice. Mom Bey passed away when my Charles was around 10 years old. at that time Philip and I lived on Mountain Rd. West Hoboken. NJ. Mom bey was a wonderful woman and I loved her like a mother, which she was to me, as my own mother passed when I was 19 years old.. Charles Bey I don't know very much about only that he was of Turkish Decent where he was born I don't know.(Family has found that Charles was born in France. Proof 1920 Census from Hudson County New Jersey. Philip says father was born of France) But Mom Bey showed me a picture of a young man, who had some kind of ribbon across his chest and said it was a relative who was of Royal Blood of her husban Charlie. And that is about all I can remember of him. Where all the Bey Children were born I do not know only a couple were born in Secaucus. NJ. Though I think.. I married Philip at St. Josephs Church in Jersey City, July 8, 1914 we had 2 sons Charles and Philip II and I lost several children. I thank God 2 lived of my marriage to Philip.

More information on the Writings Of Bridget Della Connelly, Bey, Nagle, Klarman

The writings of Della are very exciting and she writes in detail of her father, mother, and her mothers family. She also writes more on her live which I will include more of in the Bey section. But I will have many links to other families that she writes and talks about from New Jersey, New York, Massachusetes, Conneticut, and the more recent past Delaware. The names of the families range from Connelly/Connolly, Ogle, Burns, Willan, Priest and these names are just in Bridget Della's Immediate family. her mother lost 2 husbands at a young age and married a 3rd. But with the first 2 husband they had 19 kids many died from I believe illnesses. So please follow this exciting family around the USA and back to Ireland, France, England, and Turkey.
